Taylor was born and raised here in Fort Collins. Her passion for dance ignited at the age of three, leading her into competitive dance until her high school years when she joined the poms/dance team. Pursuing her academic journey, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and began teaching dance at Contemporary Dance Academy, catering to ages 2-12. She obtained a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from CSU. Her professional dance career kicked off in 2021, as she joined the Colorado Eagles as an Eagles Chick, where she danced for two years before relocating to Idaho. In Idaho, she worked as an assistant director at a preschool while coaching high school students at a local dance studio. Collaborating closely with the director, she prepared competition dances and traveled across Idaho, Montana, and Arizona to compete. Recently, she returned to Fort Collins with her husband, where she'll be teaching as an early childhood educator at a Charter school. She is excited to share her passion for dance with the Timnath High School Poms team! Welcome, Taylor!
With four seasons under my belt as a dedicated member of the Chicks team, including a season as line captain, I've honed my leadership skills and deepened my passion for the sport. Transitioning to a role as assistant coach at Poudre High for 1.5 seasons allowed me to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring athletes, fostering their growth and development. However, my journey began in the world of dance, where I spent my formative years as a studio dancer, competing and training rigorously in various styles. From there, I seamlessly transitioned into choreography, crafting routines for the Chicks and several high school teams. My commitment to dance extended beyond performance and choreography—I also dedicated myself to teaching, imparting the art of hip hop and ballet to students of all ages, including coaching a mini competition team at Studio West Dance, the very place where my dance journey began. Through each role and experience, I've cultivated a deep understanding of teamwork, discipline, and the transformative power of movement.
Hailey is a Colorado native deeply rooted in the dance community. She started dancing at age 3, competed throughout middle and high school, and joined Roosevelt High School's varsity Pom team as a freshman. She has been assistant teaching at a local studio since then. After high school, she auditioned for CSU's Golden Pom squad and is now in her final season. In 2022, faced with the closure of her childhood dance studio, she founded Front Range Dance Academy, which she has been proudly directing for nearly three years.
Pursuing Early Childhood Education with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University, her goal is to inspire young minds in a first-grade classroom after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys moments with her puppy, Brooks, and soaking up the outdoors. Teaching both in the classroom and on the dance floor is her passion, and she is honored to be part of Timnath High School's dance program.
We represent Timnath High School as its official varsity dance team. Our performances are a highlight at home football games, boys and girls basketball games, wrestling matches, volleyball matches, and occasional soccer games! Stay tuned for updates on our fundraising events, which we'll be sharing on this site. Be sure to check back to see when those exciting events are taking place!
